Bronze with double patina - brown patina and patina of the plaque with golden reflections. Original edition cast iron, made by Valsuani with lost wax, from 1938 onwards, without founder's mark, signed lower right

History:
This bas-relief was only available as a subscription, the edition being limited to ten copies, Jouve ordered the lost-wax cast iron to Valsuani as and when orders were placed. Only seven copies were made.
Provenance:
Purchased from the artist by the current owner's father.
